Alex
Nelson
|
| Alex
Nelson stuns his listeners not so much as if he’s
reading their minds but rather knowing their hearts
without the usual smack of melodrama that tends to accompany
music of this genre. “We all play scenarios of
things that have happened or could have happened if
we had just said something different or reacted a different
way.”

Matt
Butcher
|
From the first notes of the
opening track, Butcher
sets a somber and introspective mood. With atmospheric
instrumentation as spacious as it is unobtrusive,
the songs are propelled by Butchers lyrical
delivery- which, though still possessed of a powerful
melodic sense and a little bit of alt-country twang,
is less concerned with getting you to sing along that
it is getting you to pay attention. -Orlando
Weekly .

Rebekah

voice, perceptive and penetrating songwriting, and
tasty band and arrangements - Randy Wynne, PD,
WMNF.

A
music veteran, Bobby
G. Summers has been a creative force in the music industry
for many years and has decided to bring his talent to the
forefront. Summers has a history of writing, producing and
performing with the top names in the industry.
A co-founder of the 80's hit group, "The
Deele", along with Antonio "LA" Reid
and later including Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds,
Summers advanced writing style and powerful performances
attributed to the bands prominent panache, which helped
place them in the fore front.
Bobby's
departure from the band was untimely but not regretted when
he wrote, performed and produced with the Motown Recording
Artist, "General Kane". Summers collaborated on
such tunes as "Crack Killed Applejack" and "Can't
Let Go".
Following these attributes, Bobby G, joined the "Bar-Kays",
creating the unforgettable anthem "The Slide".
His
work on the 1994 "48 hrs" CD signaled what was
ahead for him as a writer, producer, arranger and performer.
He co-wrote 5 of the songs and toured with the band for
several years.
Between working with the Bar-Kays and engineering in the
studio with various artists and producers including, the
great Will "Pops" Mitchell and award winning engineer
William Brown (Stax Records). Summers was asked to perform
and direct the Enterprise Orchestra, a band otherwise headed
by the Rev. Al Green himself. Bobby assumed the role and
toured with the Reverend and the band for over 15 years.
In
2006 Summers toured with The Family Stone domestically and
overseas, filling in for Sly himself. Summers in 2008 independently
released his first CD titled "Labor
of Love" which had regional success, Bobby is now
heading his own Band touring and performing in the USA. |
